How to sell and buy on Sceido

Who can use Sceido?

Anyone can browse our site for free. To use Sceido and our services, you must register as a user and meet the following requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Create a personal account for private use only and not for professional purposes
  • Read and agree to the Terms and Conditions.

SELL

SELL YOUR PERFUME IN JUST A FEW STEPS:

  1. Register and log in: all users wishing to buy or sell must register on the platform, create an account and profile by entering their details, password, and contact information. All data will be confidential and processed only for the purposes of the site.
  2. Go to the START SELLING page and begin filling out the listing:
    – Include at least 3 clear photos of the product and, if applicable, the original packaging.
    – Include the brand, item name, and size.
    – Write a detailed and truthful description of the item, specifying whether it is new and unopened. or used. If the fragrance has already been opened and used, specify how much and attach an image showing the level of the perfume for sale.
    – Enter the price you want to sell the perfume for and, if applicable, click to use one or both of the Pro services.
    – Click Upload.
  3. Your listing will be verified by the Sceido team to ensure its veracity and consistency, based on the information provided and in line with the Conditions of Sale. You will know within 24 hours if your ad is published on the site.
  4. When your product has been sold pack your perfume, print the prepaid shipping label and go to the point of delivery within 5 days. If you do not ship the package within 5 days of confirming your purchase, the order will be considered cancelled, the product will still go back on sale, and the sale amount will be returned to the buyer.
  5. Once the package has been received by the buyer and there have been no support requests or complaints, you’ll receive payment. The payment received will be equal to the price set in the listing minus the brokerage fee applied by Sceido.

BUY

BUY SAFELY AND IN A FEW STEPS:

  1. Browse the catalog of all ads and products. You can help yourself with the different filters or browse the individual categories.
    You can take a look at the reviews left about the selling user. Find out what other users are saying about their purchases with that user.
  2. Once you have chosen your perfume and want to purchase it, click on Buy
  3. Payment: Sceido offers a variety of payment methods: credit and debit cards, Google Pay, PayPal, and Apple Pay.
    When checking out, enter your address and phone number (if required).
    Double-check that the information is correct.
    Select your preferred payment method.
    Choose a delivery option.
    Click Pay to confirm your order.
  4. Upon confirmation of payment you will receive an email with order confirmation and shipment tracking. This way you can see when the seller ships the package and track the shipment. You will receive your order in a few days.
  5. Once you receive your order you will have 3 days to check the product you purchased and confirm your purchase or make a claim and request a return. After 3 days without any complaint contact the transaction automatically results in the transaction being completed.



How does shipping and delivery work?

Here we clearly explain how the Sceido shipping service works, what the costs are, and what to expect after your purchase. Our goal is to offer you simple, transparent, secure, and trackable shipping, even when purchasing from private sellers in various European countries.

TRANSACTIONS AND SHIPPING TO THE FOLLOWING COUNTRIES:
We currently insure transactions and shipments to and from the following European countries:

  • Italy
  • France
  • Germany
  • Spain
  • Netherlands
  • Belgium

    HOW SHIPPING WORKS
    Each order is shipped directly by the seller. When the seller sells an item, they will receive an email with a prepaid shipping label generated by Sceido through their shipping partner, along with instructions on how to ship the order (for example, whether to print the label or not, where to leave the package, etc.).

The seller has 5 business days to ship an item. If they miss this deadline, we’ll have to cancel the order.

The maximum weight allowed for a standard shipment is 1 kg.

After depositing the package, the buyer will receive a tracking link to follow the package until delivery.

Once the order arrives, the buyer has 3 days to file a complaint and request a refund.
After 3 days without any complaints, the transaction is automatically considered complete.

Sceido as a platform monitors the process to ensure compliance and supports you in case of problems.

AVAILABLE DELIVERY METHODS
To keep costs down, the main shipping and delivery options are:
storage at a relay point/locker
delivery to a relay point/locker or home delivery.
All information and maps of the closest and available relay points will be provided via email, along with a printable label for the seller and a tracking link for the buyer.

SHIPPING COSTS
Shipping costs are fixed and depend exclusively on the destination country and the shipping country.
The price is clearly displayed at checkout before payment.
The cost:
– does not vary depending on the seller
– does not change after the order
– no additional costs requested by the seller after purchase are permitted
– does not include additional delivery charges.
– Any exceptions or limitations are always indicated before payment.

SHIPPING TIMES

  • The seller ships within 5 working days of order confirmation.
  • Delivery times depend on the destination country, on average 4 days.

The buyer will receive a notification with the tracking number to follow the shipment as soon as the package is handed over to the courier.

SECURITY AND RESPONSIBILITY
All shipments are tracked.
The seller is responsible for properly packaging the product.
In case of problems (delays, losses, or damage), you can contact our support team via the support form to resolve the situation.

Security in payments and refunds

When you shop on Sceido, a brokerage fee and Sceido Buyer Protection apply to every transaction made using the “Buy” button. This fee provides extra protection for your purchases and your data, so you can shop with peace of mind. For more information, see Fees and Services.
When you pay through Sceido, your order is protected. If the item wasn’t shipped on time, doesn’t arrive, was damaged in transit, or is significantly different from the description, and you report any of these issues to us within 3 days of delivery, you may be eligible for a refund.
