Product verification/control procedure

Ads must go through a verification phase by Sceido before publication. Sceido implements a pre-posting assessment, verifies that the ad you place contains images and information that are consistent and truthful, and in line with the conditions of sale.
Sceido especially verifies that the products you want to sell are not fakes or dupes, that the preservation of the product is kept intact (for non-vintage products), and that the usage limit is met for used products.
Verification is based solely on images and information uploaded by the user. In case there are uncertain aspects, Sceido reserves the right to ask for more images from the user and in case advises the user to specify certain aspects in the ad.
However, the verification is considered partial and based solely on the content submitted by the user and not on a direct analysis of the physical product. Sceido therefore assumes no responsibility for any products that do not comply with the catalog rules upon delivery, and in such cases offers a customer support service for complaints and returns.
Within 24 hours of the listing being placed, Sceido sends a notification via email and a notification to the user’s profile on the website confirming the publication or deletion of the listing.

What you can sell on Sceido

Only personal fragrances, in any size, new and used, can be sold on Sceido.
Sceido imposes certain conditions of sale:

  • The description and information provided by the client must be consistent and correct.
  • The packaging for products claimed to be new must be intact, unopened and undamaged.
  • For used products, the consumption limit should be maximum 80% for normal or trendy or niche or mini format products.
  • Testers or dupes may not be sold.

POST-SALES

Sceido assists both sellers and buyers in after-sales by providing assistance in any issues related to shipping and delivery service, as well as assistance and protection for any complaints and damages reported by the buyer after delivery of the goods.

All reports of problems, damages, complaints, and inquiries should be made in the form provided on the Service Center page.

The buyer has 3 days after receiving the order to report damage to the product or file a complaint if the product does not match the information provided in the listing or was received damaged. The buyer may therefore request a return and a refund.
Returns and refunds can be granted ONLY for one of the following proven reasons:
– failure by the seller to ship the goods within the agreed timeframe (5 days)
– product arrived damaged
– product received not in the condition and characteristics described in the listing (for example: product declared new and received in an open and used packaging, product consumed more than 80%, fragrance condition different from the images, etc.).

When reporting a problem to a buyer, Sceido requests that you specify the issue in as much detail as possible in the form and, if applicable, attach photos of the product that support the complaint.
Sceido will evaluate the report/complaint within 48 hours and contact both the buyer and the seller to then, if necessary, return the product and refund the amount paid to the buyer.
