Product verification/control procedure

Ads must go through a verification phase by Sceido before publication. Sceido implements a pre-posting assessment, verifies that the ad you place contains images and information that are consistent and truthful, and in line with the conditions of sale.
Sceido especially verifies that the products you want to sell are not fakes or dupes, that the preservation of the product is kept intact (for non-vintage products), and that the usage limit is met for used products.
Verification is based solely on images and information uploaded by the user. In case there are uncertain aspects, Sceido reserves the right to ask for more images from the user and in case advises the user to specify certain aspects in the ad.
However, the verification is considered partial and based only on user-submitted content and not from a direct analysis of the physical product. Therefore, Sceido is not responsible for any products that upon delivery do not comply with the rules of the catalog, and in that case it offers a service to assist with complaints and returns.
Within 24 hours of placing the ad, Sceido then sends an email notification and a notification in the user’s profile on the site with the confirmation of publication or deletion of the ad.

What you can sell on Sceido

Only personal fragrances, in any size, new and used, can be sold on Sceido.
Sceido imposes certain conditions of sale:

  • The description and information provided by the client must be consistent and correct.
  • The packaging for products claimed to be new must be intact, unopened and undamaged.
  • For used products, the consumption limit should be maximum 80% for normal or trendy or niche or mini format products.
  • No testers or samples can be sold.

POST-SALES

Sceido assists both sellers and buyers in after-sales by providing assistance in any issues related to shipping and delivery service, as well as assistance and protection for any complaints and damages reported by the buyer after delivery of the goods.

All reports of problems, damages, complaints, and inquiries should be made in the form provided on the Service Center page.

The buyer has 3 days once they receive the order to be able to report damage to the product or make a complaint, because the product is inconsistent with the information provided in the ad or received with damage, and therefore request a return of the goods and a refund.

In the buyer’s reports, Sceido asks to specify in as much detail as possible in the form the issue and attach in the case photos of the product that support the description of the complaint.
Sceido within 48 hours evaluates the report/complaint and contacts both the buyer and the seller to then possibly proceed with the return of the product and a refund of the amount paid to the buyer.
